A fun fall day at the park.

My Mom and I took Charlie and Adam to the park this afternoon. It was so beautiful! The leaves on the trees were golden, and the leaves on the ground were crunchy beneath our feet. It was the kind of day that you long for when winter is gray and frozen. I will enjoy this fall as long as it lasts.

This first picture was actually taken by Charlie!

Adam enjoyed his first ride in the swing.
What can I say about this one? This morning when I told Charlie he was cute, he yelled "NO! I'm big!" I still think he's cute! He thinks Adam's cute.

Video Bar

So, I'm sure you've all noticed that my new favorite thing is the video bar! How cool is it that we can so easily share short clips of the boys?! Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying it as much as I am!

Ray Family Halloween Party

Our annual Halloween party was loads of fun! We did a pinata in the garage (below). Charlie was the first to swing. He got a couple of good hits in.Although most of the adults were party poopers when it came to costumes this year, Grandma Sheri still did us proud, and Great Grandma Kay just gave us a few spooky looks!
Marni made very creepy cupcakes for the cupcake walk. The kids definitely had plenty of sugar intake!
Adam made a darling little bug!
Charlie was a perfectly charming Mickey Mouse!

Ode to October...

Although it may be hard to believe, winter came in October! We woke up a week ago to snow on the ground. Charlie had a great time stomping around and making snow balls. Thank heaven it all melted!Adam in his cozy jammies.
Charlie likes to have Adam in bed with him.
Our friend Barbie knitted this cute hat and darling booties for Adam. They are perfect for this time of year. Charlie likes to sit up on the counter in the kitchen. So, we let Adam join him in his little bebe pod (chair).

The next two pictures actually were taken on different nights. Charlie has been napping less, and as a result, this happened two times this last week! Can you even imagine Charlie falling asleep at dinner?!

Every year we go to Logan to join Darin, SueAnn, and their five kids for a corn maze in October. It's a very fun tradition, and it was especially fun this year. After we entered the corn maze Charlie said "ooooh, pooky forest!" He liked it for awhile, then said "I don't want to anymore, it cary!"

This evening, for our family night, we went to Pack Farms in Farmington to pick pumpkins from their pumpkin patch. We had a lot of fun! If Charlie had his choice we would have come home with at least 20 pumpkins. We settled on 5 GREAT ones!

Our friends Dave, Amanda, and Luke James live right down the road and decided to join us last minute. We're glad they made it!
Does it seem like I'm always with "CRAZY" these days? I might be, but the sky was amazing!

Is it really October?

October is here, and Charlie just gets funnier every day. This morning he walked into the living room holding his tooth brush in one hand and tooth paste in the other. He obviously wanted to brush his teeth. He held the tooth paste out to me and said "I need some tooth brush sauce." You'll also notice in the second picture, he loves tooth floss (only if it tastes like mint).

With economic crisis in full swing, we thought to ourselves, "what better time to buy a new truck?"

Last week we took a walk up City Creek Canyon. Charlie and Daddy had a blast throwing rocks into the creek. It was so beautiful! I'm not sure why we don't do things like this more often.

Adam is now four months old! He's rolling over (sometimes all the way)! He's such a great baby. He hardly ever cries and always has a smile to share. You will often here Charlie say "Baby's so cute!"
