Fun in the Sun

Memorial Day weekend was a lot of fun! We spent our time in St George with our far away family.
We beat the crowds, and went to Snow Canyon on Friday. It was beautiful!

Far Away Grandma and Papa are missed every day. The boys were so happy to see them!

Christian, Brandy, Jeff, Tanner, and Charlie all climbed to the very top of this hill.

Brandy and Tanner climbed up a mountain side to see some pioneer names from the 1800's.

Even Charlie did some climbing.

These guys didn't know they could write with rocks.

Last summer at LaPush, Adam just layed right down in the sand. He still likes the sand! He did the same thing here.

Above, is the hole everyone was trying to throw rocks into. It seems to be a common game in this family. Who can get the rock into the hole first?
More rock throwing.

Ben and Lori, and Dan and Ashley stopped by with Baby Presley. We love her!

Unfortunately, Adam was sick most of the weekend. Here he is zonked out while Charlie watched a movie.
Having a bubble bath is always a lot of fun in Grandma's jetted tub. It's easy to get the bubbles really big!

A bubble bath like this requires a shower to clean off. Adam especially loves to take a shower and let the water run all over his head and face!

Uncle Paul and Allyson were so nice. They got the boys sidewalk chalk, coloring books and markers, and other games to play. Aunt Brandy joined in the fun.
Cleanin' up the mess.
We had a little pre-birthday celebration for the boys. Aunt Brandy got them gigantic cupcakes!
Charlie really loved the glowing art board that Jeff, Brandy, and Tanner gave to Adam. Fortunately, Adam was willing to share.
The boys love to be with our family. These trips are going to be their fondest memories. They are growing fast! We can't let this wonderful time slip away!

A Trip To See The Doctor

This morning we took Charlie and Adam to their yearly doctor appointments. Charlie has been quite sick the last few days, and we found out that he has pnemonia. Hopefully, with anibiotics, he will be better within a few days.

As Dr Dimick was leaving, Charlie said, "Thank you, Dr Dimick." He told Charlie he was welcome. Then Adam said, in his two year old voice, "Dank you, Dr Peppa." Then Adam waved, and said "I lub you." Dr Dimick said, "Love you, too."

We all had a good laugh, even sick little Charlie. Dr Dimick said that's the first time anyone's called him Dr Pepper. Adam's a pretty funny boy!

My favorite part of May

I have a peonie tree in our back yard that only blooms for one week of the year. Christian thinks it's a waste of space. He's always threatening to rip it out, but the joy I get from one week worth of flowers is worth waiting a year. They are absolutely beautiful!

The other day Charlie said to me, "Mom, I really wish we could have a baby sister." Presley will have to fill our void. She is adoreable!
