Soccer Guy

As you can imagine, Charlie's first session of soccer was a pretty big deal! We took him to the soccer shop for shoes, socks, shorts, and shin guards. He was excited to wear the soccer shirt that Far Away Papa gave to him!

Sam, Estelle, and Charlie played on the same team.
There were a few practices before the games began. Charlie really liked practice. He liked having a fair turn with the ball. Charlie's coach, Grant, just happened to be one of Christian's old bosses from Club Axis. Small world.

Keeping Adam entertained became one of the biggest parts of the "game." He really wanted to be out there!



Adam and Max (Sammy's baby brother) hung out while the games were being played. They were not always co-operative.
Charlie tended to do his own thing during the games. Sometimes it involved soccer, sometimes it was a bit more imaginative.

These pictures are on group picture day. The kids had a bit of fun after the game!

Each of the kids got a medal after the last game. They had fun!
