January

The best thing about January is Christian's birthday. We have a new tradition- since Christian isn't a big "treat" guy, we like to put his candles in his food. Last year it was hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs. This year, meatloaf. The boys were SO excited!

Merry Christmas!

Whoever said that Christmas pictures should be displayed right after Christmas? So, it is February, and almost the end of February, but I say, better late than never!
The boys were looking forward to spending Christmas in Seattle for months ahead of time! I think all of their expectations were exceeded. We had a wonderful holiday!

Christmas Eve was spent at Papa Craig's. We enjoyed opening gifts and playing games. It was like an appetizer for Charlie and Adam- it just got them more excited for Christmas morning!

Christmas morning was as exciting as they could have imagined. Santa Clause managed to find us at Grandma and Papa's Far Away. For Adam: Transformer Rescue Bots, and Super Hero Squadies. For Charlie: Transformer Rescue Bots and Star Wars Guys. It was SO much fun!

"Cousin time" was just about as exciting as Christmas morning. By late afternoon, the house was hoppin' with kids!
Baby Eva was a big hit!

Our friend Michele gave the boys a super fun game called Headbanz. Everyone gets a card with a picture stuck on their head so that they can't see it. Then, they have to ask questions to figure out what they are. It was fun for everyone!
Just yesterday Adam asked, "When is it going to be Christmas again?" Christmas truly is magical and fun. I love to experience it now, through my children. It's so special. Next year, we'll look forward to adding our little princess to the mix!

Ray Family Christmas Party

We enjoyed another wonderful celebration together! Darin and SueAnn's family chose our "project" this year. We were able to make donations to a program at Utah State University that helps kids with Autism to socialize. We also made donations to the Logan Food Pantry. Choosing a charity each year has quickly become what we really look forward to!
Our party was, of course, big and rowdy, and full of fun!

Our biggest surprise came with jingle bells on the front porch!!!
All of the children felt great excitment and anticipation from Santa's early visit.

Santa had some fun activities for the kids. He showed them some of his magic and reminded them of the true reason for Christmas, Jesus Christ.

Each child got a turn on Santa's lap.
