It keeps happening!

It doesn't matter how hard we try to stop it, these kids keep doing and saying cute things!
After Adam sneezed on Charlie, Charlie feeling very annoyed said, "Ahhh, baby just blessed you on me!"
Charlie wanted my help finding the remote for the tv the other morning. When I got up to help him he got into his acting mode. He spread his legs like he was ready to take off, then forcefully putting his hands on his hips he said, "Okay everybody (it was just the two of us), we've got work to do. Put your hands on your nipples!" He, of course, meant hips.
I was driving home from my brother's the other night. Charlie and Adam were in the back seat, quiet. It was completely silent for several minutes then Charlie said, "Mom, are you awake, or asleep?" Luckily, I was awake. He didn't seem to have an opinion about weather or not I should be.
Adam wants to do EVERYTHING his big brother does! On this particular morning he climbed into the laundry basket with Charlie's sticker book. He was ready to do some art!

Another thing that Adam always wants to do with Charlie is to play outside. He loves the sidewalk chalk and the sandbox! We just keep our fingers crossed that he won't eat everything. He's a big boy, and he knows what he wants!
These gorgeous flowers are from my peony tree in the back yard. It only blooms once a year for one week. Christian always wants to chop it down, but I can't! It's so beautiful that it's worth a once a year bloom!
This is how we end the days, exhausted!
On this night Charlie fell asleep on a barstool eating his dinner. We moved him to the couch. Not only did he try to slide off of his stool, it looks like he also wanted to slide off of the couch!

Does life get any better than this?

I did not do this on purpose! I was making eggs this morning, just cracking away, when I looked down. I was half way through the cracking of my 5th egg when I realized what was going on in the pan. I stopped what I was doing and made the whole family come see. What a great way to start the day!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was wonderful! I was treated like a princess by Christian and the boys. We went to Temple Square to see the flowers. I love beautiful flowers. I especially love being Charlie and Adam's Mom! I feel very blessed!

When I was little we used to sing to our Mom's for Mother's Day. Every year I sing this song all day long and remember being little: I often go walking in meadows of clover, and I gather armfulls of blossoms of blue. I gather these blossoms the whole meadow over. Dear Mother all flowers remind me of you! I love you Mom, your the greatest!

Every one knows how much I love my Mother-in-law! Vicki, you raised a pretty nice boy. You're a wonderful woman, a great Mother, and an incredible Grandmother! Thank you! We love you!

more quotes

Charlie: "Mommy, I need the drumsticks so I can granck the cranckers!"

Adam: "Ba Ba" (for bottle)

Earlier today, from Charlie, who is standing in front of me in a pose: "Mom, can you see my muscles and my bones?" Then he turned so his rear was facing me. He lifted his shirt and tugged his drawers down, giving me a half moon. "You see 'em Mom? They're right there on my back, by my bum!"

SUPER CROSS!

Last Saturday night our friends Courtney and Mitch invited us to Super Cross. We splurged and took Charlie while our friends Gretchen and Corper were nice enough to watch Adam for us.
In the begining we were surprised by some very loud fireworks, and some huge flames of fire! Charlie was very scared; we thought we might have to go home. :(
Charlie was hiding under the blanket for quite awhile. I was hopeful that he would come around once the motorcycles were out.

Luckily, I was right! Once the motorcycles came out he was totally into it!

Below is a picture of Charlie hiding from the fire, again! This time, at least he had a smile on his face.

This is Charlie with his buddy Sammy. They had a blast! Hopefully, we can go again!
