Mile Stones

Last night Charlie peed on the pottie for the first time! There's hope for only one child in diapers! Today he told me that he wants spiderman, batman, and sponge squares underwear. We gave him a pretty BIG celebration! (He just did it again!)

Josh and Kelly got a new puppy. Adam is just his size. I've been calling Adam my little kitty because if he wants you to pay attention to him he'll nuzzle up to your legs like a kitty cat.

Below: I've "lost" Adam in the house a few times lately. Usually he's in Charlie's closet playing, but one time he was under the dining table, back behind the chairs. He had me a little panicked!

Two babies! Adam is right on schedule, almost exactly, with Charlie's crawling! It's fun to see them grow, but it's going too fast!

The Joy of January

Above: Adam is at a hard stage for bathing. He doesn't hold still! But, he loves the water!

Above: Adam is traveling! He's all but crawling, and we're expecting the crawling to begin any day!

Below: Estelle came over to play for a few hours the other night. By the end of the night she told Charlie they had to get married, because she was going to have a baby (Charlie's night light)! Charlie wanted something in his tummy, too. So, he's got his pillow stuffed in there. I told them that they're supposed to get married BEFORE the baby's in her belly!

Adam is finally sleeping in his own room! Charlie's always anxious to see him when he wakes up in the morning!

Let's party like it's 2009!

We greeted the new year with good friends, family, and food!

Our new years eve celebration began with a very early dinner at Chuck-A-Rama! Oh yeah! Sammy, Estelle, Lucy, Violet, and Charlie were all on their normal behavior (mostly crazy)!

Not all of us are in the pictures, but we had dinner with our friends Jacob & Michelle Nuttal (Lucy & Violet), Justin & Brittany Smith (Estelle), and Mitch & Courtney McBeth (Sammy & Max).

As you can see, for the first time EVER, we had a kids table!!!!!

These two were kind of mad that they had to sit with the adults. Hey, no solids, no eating on your own!

The party continued later at Dennis and Sheri's. It was so much fun that we turned it into a slumber party. Who invited sleeping beauty? (Rylee)

Darin, Sue, and the kids joined us for breakfast. I don't think they had as much fun as we did. They looked rested! This is Kylie with her ear phones in. (Some things will always stay the same. 1989, 1999, 2009, ear phones and teenagers do well together!)
